Historic Manassas Inc., the City’s Economic Development Department, & Main Street America Partner to Chart the Course for the Future of Historic Downtown Manassas

Historic Manassas Inc. (HMI), in partnership with the City’s Economic Development Department, and the Main Street America program, has launched an online survey to gain a better understanding of regional market trends and the community’s aspirations for Historic Downtown Manassas.

Historic main streets have stood as the lifeblood of our towns and cities, hosting a diverse array of businesses, services, government functions, entertainment, and more. A new generation actively seeks out the unique allure, economic vitality, and cultural exchange that historic, traditional commercial districts offer.

“Since 1986, HMI has been at the forefront of revitalizing Historic Downtown Manassas. By partnering with the esteemed Main Street America, HMI continues to honor its ongoing pledge to engage the community stakeholders in promoting, preserving, and enhancing our vibrant Historic Downtown,” said Kristen Kiefer, HMI’s newly appointed Executive Director. “This survey will provide us with our community’s perspectives on ways to sustain the positive changes that continue each and every day here in Historic Downtown Manassas,” she added.

The survey is confidential and takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Responses will be collected directly by Main Street America and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cherished Historic Downtown Manassas community, together.
