A Virginia Leader in Business and Jobs

The City of Manassas has named Micah Kemp its new Assistant Director of Economic Development. He will be responsible for marketing Manassas as a community of choice for businesses as well as assisting existing employers with their growth in the City. Micah most recently served with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority after returning to the East Coast from an economic development role in Portland, Oregon. He began his career in Henrico County, Virginia.

Micah holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and an undergraduate degree in Public Administration from James Madison University.

When not working, Micah and his partner, Abby, are often hiking, camping, biking, gardening and enjoying the company of their Chocolate Lab and cat.
