A Fresh Chapter for Historic Downtown

Sleepy Dragon Books has announced plans to open soon at 9101 Center Street in Downtown Manassas, adding an independent bookstore experience that blends curated titles with a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. The shop contributes to a growing mix of locally owned businesses that are shaping a distinct identity for the district.

Its collaboration with neighboring small business Honey and Ivy Gluten Free reflects a shared commitment to creating inviting spaces where residents and visitors can gather, explore, and connect. Together, these entrepreneurs are continuing to invest in the City and enhance the character of Historic Downtown—building a unique scene that supports foot traffic, encourages local spending, and reinforces Manassas as a place where small businesses can grow and thrive.

Ace Flight Solutions Takes Off in Manassas

Virginia-based Ace Flight Solutions has expanded into the City of Manassas with a new location at Manassas Regional Airport, adding to the airport’s growing roster of aviation and aerospace businesses. The company provides specialized aircraft services that support efficient, reliable flight operations for a range of aviation clients. For companies like Ace, Manassas Regional Airport offers a strong platform for growth—with one of the busiest general aviation airports in Virginia, a strategic Northern Virginia location, and an established aviation ecosystem that supports innovation, connectivity, and long-term business investment.

Two Local Businesses on the Move

Two longtime Manassas businesses are making exciting moves this spring. PWC Employees Credit Union, founded in 1971, is relocating its Manassas branch to a larger space on Liberia Avenue to better serve members with expanded amenities and continued personalized financial services. Meanwhile, MP Copiers, a local office technology company serving the region since 1993, is growing under new ownership with Sean McIlroy and expanding its copier and IT solutions. Join us in celebrating both milestones at their upcoming ribbon cuttings:
