The City of Manassas empowers adult learners through the GRADUATE! GED program, offering residents over 18 free GED preparation, materials, and exam fees. Flexible virtual and in-person classes, including Spanish options, ensure accessibility. Graduates receive a $250 HEART BEAT gift card redeemable at 30+ local Manassas establishments, celebrating their achievement and supporting workforce readiness.

Grow Manassas

The City of Manassas, in collaboration with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), offers the Grow Manassas program—a fully funded tuition assistance initiative for residents. This program provides access to over 40 industry-recognized certifications in high-demand fields such as IT, healthcare, skilled trades, business, and engineering. By eliminating financial barriers, Grow Manassas equips local talent with the skills needed to meet the workforce demands of leading employers like Micron, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, and UVA Health.
