Business Beat: Annual Report Rolled Out at Business Appreciation Breakfast!

Thanks for Another Successful Business Appreciation Breakfast!

A huge thank you to all who joined us this morning at The Manassas Community Center for another fun and eventful Business Appreciation Breakfast!

This breakfast is one small way for the City to recognize and celebrate the businesses that help power Manassas every day — the entrepreneurs, employers, nonprofits, and teams who continue investing in our community and making this City stronger, more vibrant, and more resilient.

This morning, about 150 businesses connected with City leadership and took part in a candid workforce conversation led by Micron’s Zuzana Steen, alongside partners from NOVAGeorge Mason University, and Manassas City Public Schools. Attendees gained practical, real-time insights on building talent pipelines, strengthening their teams, and tapping into resources like Grow Manassas to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving economy. The attendees were also the first to lay eyes on our 2025 Annual Report (more below).

An event like this isn’t possible without a fantastic host and hard working partners — thank you to Manassas City Community Development, Prince William Chamber of Commerce, our raffle donors, and Zuzana Steen, Dr. Molly Lynch, Amy Adams, and Chris Taylor for your time and leadership in our City.

We look forward to continue serving you in these yearly celebrations and every other day throughout the week. We’ll see you next year!

Stay tuned to our Facebook Page for more event photos soon.

Introducing the 2025 Annual Report

2025 marked another strong year for Manassas. Micron continued its $2B expansion, reinforcing our position in advanced manufacturing, while growth across aerospace and defense added to a year of steady progress. With vacancy rates remaining low and new development taking shape, the City continues to demonstrate stability in a shifting region. With more than 1,500 businesses, we remain focused on engagement, support, and building what’s next—together.

The Department of Economic Development is pleased to present the 2025 Annual Report, which you can access in the link below.
