The Cognitive Sanctuary Launches in Manassas

Delores Topping is a proud veteran with 20 years of service in the United States Navy. It was in the Navy that she became certified in counseling in order to care for her fellow service members. She has since struck out on her own to launch The Cognitive Sanctuary, a full-service counseling firm prioritizing mental health and spiritual growth. Delores found an ideal first commercial space at 9720 Capital Court, formerly introducing her to the City of Manassas. She currently occupies Suite 404 (Room #5), and has plans to eventually establish numerous “sanctuaries” for meditation, on-site counseling, and peer sessions.

Delores has been quick to explore the many resources offered to business owners like her throughout the City noting enthusiastically that “there is an entire community willing and ready to help!” The mission at The Cognitive Sanctuary echoes that same sentiment, emphasizing the importance of relationship building in mental health and personal growth.

Osbourn High School Job Fair – April 28

Osbourn High School is hosting a job fair on April 28, 2025 for businesses and students looking for jobs and/or internships.

Students will mingle with company representatives in a café style round robin. Participating businesses are encouraged to bring promotional materials to communicate the company’s mission and values.

Osbourn High School hosts several advanced STEM and liberal arts programs that line up well with the City of Manassas’ diverse employer base. Companies are strongly encouraged to engage with the school’s Career and Technical Education program to enhance these types of events and other hands-on learning opportunities!
