Meredith House Combines Historic Heart and Refined Opportunity

In the heart of Historic Downtown Manassas, the Meredith House, a grand Tudor mansion built in the 1890s, has completed its transformation into a high-end social club designed to benefit the local business community and foster economic growth. Led by Sean Porter of Loveless Porter Architects, this renovation, spanning two years from start to finish, aims to create an exclusive “Speakeasy” space where business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals can connect, collaborate, and support one another. “Our vision is to offer a venue that encourages networking and collaboration, providing an environment where business leaders can thrive,” said Porter.

Porter has teamed up with active community partners who bring an extra level of distinguished service to Meredith House members. Donnella Pearson, an award-winning chef and owner of Let Them Eat Cake, LLC, will curate a fine-tuned small plate menu, drawing from a variety of food categories. Valerie Meale also brings a wide network of regional supporters as the Meredith House’s community engagement specialist.

This project is one of several ventures where Sean Porter has leveraged the City’s façade and landscape matching grants, contributing to the revitalization of the area. These investments help drive economic growth and attract further opportunities for development within Historic Downtown Manassas.

The club will offer a refined dining and beverage experience, versatile spaces for meetings, events, and social gatherings, along with a selection of premium spirits, including exclusive Private Labels, ensuring an exceptional and elevated experience.
