Brandi Norrell’s love of Manassas began almost a decade ago. Her daughter was involved in ARTfactory’s children’s productions like Pied Piper and others, and Brandi would make the most of the frequent trips to Historic Downtown by popping over to the Pavilion for live music or grabbing a bite at one of the City’s premier dining establishments.

Brandi opened her first Studio Luxe Boutique clothing store in Warrenton, Virginia, in October 2019. This summer, her love of Manassas propelled her forward as she launched her second location at 9101 Center Street in Historic Downtown. Manassas was an obvious choice for her first expansion, noting that the City offers the best of both worlds – friendliness and hospitality –  like her home community in North Carolina, but also buzzing with energy and diversity found in bigger cities. Studio Luxe hit a stride with that opening. Within one year, Brandi will open TWO more locations. Studio Luxe opened in Dulles Landing on September 15, and the Remington, VA store is on track for late September!

Between the multiple locations and events, Brandi has grown her business to employ 18 team members with steady, organic revenue. Her entire growth model is based on positivity, listening to her gut about how to best serve customers, and surrounding herself with inspirational people.

Those people now include some of the City’s most engaged business owners. Brandi took no time to plug into One Million Cups, which she credits as a “powerful and unique asset” given the business partnership opportunities. Studio Luxe is actively involved in Honey & Ivy’s newly launched book club, backpack drives for local schools, Boxes of Basics fundraisers, Dabble Reuse Center and Fillagreen craft parties, First Fridays, and much more.

Brandi’s reputation both regionally and now in the City has earned Studio Luxe readers’ choice awards from Prince William Times in FOUR categories! Just today they were named Best Local Clothing, Best Gift Store, Friendliest Reception/Front Desk, and Spirit of Prince William.
