High Purity Systems has been in business for more 30 years. It specializes in tackling complex, highly technical mechanical projects for a variety of industries including microelectronics, biopharmaceutical, aerospace, food and beverage manufacturers and other industrial companies.
The company’s expertise includes fabricating and installing critical process piping systems, performing specialty welding services and manufacturing skidded piping systems.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with the city of Manassas to secure the project, for which Maryland was competing, according to a press release from the city’s Department of Economic Development. The partnership will support the company’s job creation through the state-funded Virginia Jobs Investment Program, which reduces the human resources costs of new and expanding companies. VJIP also provides consultative services and funding to support employee training activities.
High Purity Systems is eligible to receive sales and use tax exemptions on manufacturing equipment, as well as a major business facility job tax credit for new full-time jobs created.
In announcing the expansion, High Purity Systems said it is seeking job candidates in a number of areas, including project management, estimating, engineering, welding, marketing and accounting.
